  1. Great job yesterday to the Sunny Hills Girls Tennis team as they remain undefeated beating Canyon High School 10-8 to improve to 5-0 on the season. The Lady Lancers were led by Senior, Maya Orton who won all 3 of her singles matches against great competition. The doubles were led by Senior, Cambria Dominguez and partner Junior, Sydney Odipo who won all 3 of their matches. Honorary shoutout to doubles players Julianne Tubiera, Ella Ward, Angie Lee, and Ashley Kang who all won 2 out of 3 doubles matches to help clinch the victory for the Lancers! Come out today at the tennis courts at 3pm to support your girls tennis teams as they finish off the preseason with a match against La Serna! Go Lancers 

 

  1. Girls varsity cruised to a 26-stroke win versus Cypress High School yesterday at Navy Golf Course. Hailey Hong and Isabelle Kim both shot plus 4, 41s to lead the Lancers. Nana Kim and Lindsay Shin both came in at plus 5. The girls take on Troy tomorrow. Keep the undefeated streak alive ladies! 

 

  1. Chess Club Meets today in Room 52 at lunch. All are welcome!!! 

 

  1. Comic Book Club will be meeting TODAY in Room 111! We share, borrow, and read comics. Discuss all the latest in superheroes! 

 

  1. This Friday, Cross Country competes at the Woodbridge Invitational at Great Park in Irvine. Good luck to our Lancers XC! 

 

  1. Lancers, Northwestern University's admissions representative will be presenting at lunch in the library and UC Irvine will visit later today after 6th period starting at 3:30pm. Tomorrow we'll be hosting USC, and Cal State Los Angeles on Friday! Seniors, remember to always bring your student ID to college visits so you can receive priority entrance in the event of limited seating. Check your school email for the the weekly Guidance Newsletter to view the most up-to-date College Visit Calendars and check the date, time, and location to plan ahead for visits. See Ms. Corona in the College and Career Center if you have questions!
  2. Extra! Extra! Read all about it! The Accolade's first magazine will be distributed on Friday during fourth period. Make sure to ask your teachers for a copy of the award-winning publication's first issue! Read about our new late start schedule, new teachers on campus, our fall sports and more! 

 

  1. A Night in Naboo is THIS Saturday night. Homecoming will be epic this year. Come out and dance, eat and take pics with your best friends. Saturday at 7:30pm, here at Sunny Hills. Tickets are still on sale online!

 

  1. The Homecoming FOOTBALL Game is Friday night at BP Stadium. Come out and watch the Lancer Football team have the high ground and use The Force to destroy Sonora. At halftime of the game we will crown the 2026 Homecoming Queen. Remember, Gold Card holders get in FREE! 

 

  1. If you're bringing a guest to Homecoming - the GUEST PASS is due now in Room 6. Don’t delay and risk the Guest ticket not being valid without a Guest pass, signed by the other student’s home school administrator, with a business card and their parents signature. If you have questions, come to Room 6 at break or lunch.

 

  1. Lancers, Remember if you are parking your car on campus, you must have a Parking Permit, visible in your car. You can still buy & come pick up the Parking Permit in Room 6 at break or lunch. And a friendly reminder, do not park in Staff Parking- plan ahead and get to campus early.

 

** Congrats to Girls Volleyball for sweeping Canyon yesterday! Volleyball won 3-0! Boys Water Polo beat Rowland 17-7! Shout out to Girls Golf who beat Cypress yesterday! Girls Tennis beat Canyon in a tough match yesterday 10-8! Great Job Lancers!

 

Today, tennis will host La Serna at 3pm and Flag Football will host El Dorado at 3:15pm! Get out to these games and scan the 5 star QR Code for points!
