1. Girls Golf news- On Monday, Freshman, Hailey Hong, shot 4 under at Lakewood Country Club to lead the Lancers to a crushing 77 stroke win over Cerritos High School. Lindsay Shin came in at even par, and Nana Kim shot 1 over. Way to open the season girls! 

2. A galaxy far far away is calling all Lancers to the 2026 Homecoming Dance...A Night in Naboo. Tickets are on sale NOW on our webstore. Go with a group, go with a date, just be a Lancer and go. The dance will have dancing, multiple photo booths/spots, arcade games, tacos, cookies, yogurt, and so much more. Remember tickets are way cheaper with a gold card. Buy your tickets today at the lowest price they will be. 

3. Class of 2027!!! Senior Sunrise is TOMORROW MORNING at 5:45AM. Meet your friends here on campus on the side of the gym. Make sure to bring your friends, comfy clothes, and blankets! What's gonna be there? A ticket in that senior pack or bought online will get you breakfast burritos, drinks, desserts and fruit! You can also bring 5 dollars to get a drink, dessert and fruit. Everyone is welcome! We're selling senior shirts, you can make bracelets, and we'll have a photo backdrop! Make sure to come out and kick off our senior year right. Be part of the Lancer Life...come to Senior Sunrise 

4. Seniors--Are you interested in being on Homecoming Court? Do you have what it takes to be Sunny Hills Homecoming Royalty? Come to the HOCO Court application meeting on Friday Aug 28th in Room 170 at Break. We will explain everything about the process for Homecoming Court and how that will go over the next few weeks. IF you are interested in being on the Homecoming Court come to 170 at Break THIS FRIDAY. 

5. Attention Gold Card holders- do you need your Gold Card printed? Come to the Attendance office in Room 7 to get it printed. You may do this only at break, lunch or after school.

You can still buy a Gold Card online or in Room 6. It gives you FREE admission to Home athletic games, including football, and discounts on dances, the yearbook and more. 

6. Club Rush is next week in the Quad. Come out to see all the amazing clubs Sunny Hills has to offer. If you are a Club President, please fill out the form you were sent to pick your day for your club’s appearance.

7. Seniors- Northern Arizona has postponed their visit today. Stay tuned for more information.
