1.Sunny Hills Varsity Softball earned a dominant 14–0 win over Troy High School, recording 15 hits and holding Troy scoreless.

Sammy Apolinar led the way, going 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs and 6 strikeouts in the circle. Olivia Gomez (3-for-4, 2 RBIs) and Priscilla Hernandez (2-for-2, 2 RBIs) contributed offensively, while Samaya Holguin and Elayna Marquez each added 2 RBIs.

The Lancers’ pitching staff combined for 10 strikeouts in the shutout victory.

2.A huge win for the Sunny Hills Boys Tennis team yesterday as they defeated Brea-Olinda by the score of 12-6 to take over 1st place in the Freeway League. The Lancers are now a perfect 4-0 in League! The Lancers were led yesterday by Singles players, freshman Austin Kim who won all 3 of his matches against elite competition, and freshman Ethan Moon who had a thrilling comeback victory to take the lead for Sunny Hills. On the doubles side, the Lancers were led by Julian Yoon, Enzo Tenazas, Kyle Kang, and Leo Lee who all won every match for the team. It was an incredible team effort to take over 1st place in the Freeway League! Way to go Lancers!

3.Sunny Hills Dance presents our Spring Concert, “Rooted”! 4.BONJOUR juniors & seniors, it's time to journey to Paris "where paths cross" and purchase your PROM TICKETS ASAP! $110 w/Gold Card & $115 without this week, you can purchase online, in room 6 or we will be selling them in the Quad at Lunch! Guest passes are found in Room 6 and must be filled out before April 7th. Get your tickets before the prices go up!

 

5.April is National Poetry Month! Visit the library to celebrate. Check out the poetry display, pick up a pocket-sized poem, and explore works by Walt Whitman, Langston Hughes and modern poets like Jason Reynolds, and Courtney Peppernell—all month long!
