*Girls Varsity Volleyball won 1st round of Div 3 CIF last night against Cerritos. Come out to support our girls this Saturday night here at Sunny Hills at 6pm! 

1. Attention Female Athletes! Girls Basketball will be hosting one more tryout for the upcoming basketball season TODAY AFTER SCHOOL at the Outdoor courts. Players must be physically cleared to try out. Please see Coach Byun in room 185 if you have any questions.

2. Oktoberfest is coming to the Quad! The German Club is bringing the celebration to campus TOMORROW during lunch. Come enjoy authentic German food, live music, dancing, and games. Make sure to buy your tickets pre sold in room 47 TODAY.

3. Don’t be FRIGHTENED! It’s just Unscheduled 6th! No tricks here, just treat yourself to a Halloween themed Improv show on Friday, October 23rd, 3:45pm @PAC!!! $1 for students and $5 for general admission!!

4.  Boys Basketball tryouts for newcomers will be held on Monday, October 26 at 7:00pm in the gym. You must complete the athletic clearance process and be cleared before trying out. See Coach Ok in room 186 with any questions.

5. Club Presidents or Club Representatives. There is an ICC Meeting this Friday in the PAC at Break. PLEASE attend this Mandatory ICC meeting so we can deliver some important Club information regarding Halloween, the Fall Fundraising Drive as well as get you updated on Club Verifications. Please be prompt---that's an ICC meeting in the PAC at Break on Friday Oct 23rd. Thank you. 

6. Attention Lancers... Track & Field will be holding an interest meeting for all students on Thursday, November 5th in the library after school. Anyone interested in trying out for Track & Field is welcome to attend. Learn more about athletic clearance, tryouts, and program requirements for the upcoming Spring season. Mark your calendars for November 5th and reach out to Coach Holloway with any questions. 

7. Hi everyone! Circle of Friends will be selling Boo-Grams this year for $1. Boo-grams will be sold on October 27, October 28, and October 29th during break and lunch in the Quad. Please come support our club and purchase a boo-gram! You must know the 4th period room number of the person you are purchasing boo grams for.Thank you! 

8. Hey Lancers, do you like hanging out in the Library before school, during break and at lunch? Do you use the library as a quiet place to do homework and study? Help us keep it clean by NOT eating in the library. Kindly eat outside- use a bench or a table- and keep the Library free from food, empty wrappers, crumbs and waste. Thank you.

Get ready because the 2026 COFA Fall Festival is coming up! This year’s theme is Stranger Things!

Come join us for an afternoon filled with exciting performances, amazing artwork, delicious food, and fun with friends!

COFA’s Fall Festival will take place on Wednesday, October 28, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM in the Quad….and admission is FREE!!! It counts for COFA credit too!

So mark your calendars, bring your friends, and get ready to enter the Upside Down at COFA's Fall Festival.
