1. Are you interested in playing Boys Soccer? There will be an informational meeting TODAY at break in Room 401! Come by to learn more about tryouts and how to get involved. See you there!
2. Huge shout out to flag football for their season opening win over a good Bonita team 20-19. Defense played extremely well lead by senior captain Annalise Glynn who had 7 flag pulls to go with an interception for a touchdown as well as the game sealing interception. Senior Julia Cabrera and junior Jackie Quintero each had interceptions in a dominant defensive effort. Offense was lead by Junior Quarterback Solaio Arredondo who had a monster game passing completing 15 of 21 passes for 155 yards and 2 touchdowns! Senior Annalise Glynn caught 6 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown Senior Saraya Jhawar had 4 catches for 37 yards and a touchdown Our Lancers are back in action Monday at Ayala. Come out and support your flag football team this year! 
3. Lancer Club Presidents and Club Reps. The first and most important ICC meeting of the year will be Tuesday August 18th in the PAC at Break. IF your club is planning on participating in Club Rush you MUST send a representative to this meeting on the 18th. That's ICC Meeting #1---Tuesday 8/18 in the PAC at Break. Thank you! 
4. Lancers! Next week we will begin hosting our Fall College Visits in the Library during Lunch! College admissions representatives will provide presentations on their admissions process and general information about programs and opportunities available at their campuses. On Monday we will host Sonoma State University, then Loyola Marymount University on Wednesday, and Loma Linda University on Thursday. Keep listening to the morning announcements for visit reminders, and check your student email regularly to receive the Guidance Gazette newsletter where the most up-to-date calendar of college visits will be available to help you know when different colleges will be visiting this fall. If you have questions see Ms. Corona in the College and Career Center in room
